MythMatrix is an educational training program and open source production development group. We explore, relate and gamify dynamics of film --including character, plot, and story pattern-- to better understand and empower our own true life story as well as to co-create interesting, meaningful, entertaining, and commercially successful projects for personal development and/or industrial sales. Recently recorded an inspired rant for our Free Future. Jordan did a great job interviewing me and had this to say:
"Some wise words surrounding the master-slave dynamic we're so unconsciously familiar with. Don't be scared of the future! The post-scarcity society is full of abundance and compassion, not dystopian cyberpunk distress. Don't be scared --> let's evolve."
Steven "Dr. Quest" Jacquier
Scientist, Educator -&- Writer, Artist
Clearly, childhood exposure to the classic "Jonny Quest" cartoon had quite an effect! Steven has lived all over the planet working in the sciences and education and harbors bold ambitions for doing the same on other planets as well, someday -at least through the wonderful vehicle of quality SciFi & Fantasy. His work has also included producing stained glass window designs, fabrications, and installations on a commercial scale. Steven was fortunate to be a lucky kid in the right place at the right time (largely through being around the primordial SCA crew in the early Berkeley days plus participation in the Black Pointe Forest Renn Faire and fandoms such as Darkover) so came to meet a number of now-famous SciFi & Fantasy authors in person, back before they were famous. Alas, many of those folks have now passed on, their books are largely out of print, and even their best works are becoming a bit dated and forgotten. It would be a pleasure to modernize and revive some of those masterpieces, popularizing them once again via screenplay adaptation. More about The Quest here.
